Conference/Convention Outreach Event Checklist

List of items that staff should bring to Conference or Convention outreach events (applies to large events where our allotted space is outlined with pipe and drape):

  • Event Backwall Display Setup
  • Tablecloth – Alliant branded*
  • Brochure stands
  • Business card stands
  • Alliant general brochure
  • Program Sheets for programs relevant to the conference audience
  • Lead cards
  • Business cards – admissions
  • Business cards – partnership development
  • CSPP alumni "Stay Connected" fliers OR Business cards - alumni relations**
  • Promo items - pens/highlighters/clips
  • Alliant mugs (to hold pens)
  • Alliant or CSPP Badge Ribbons***

*Certain events require a school-specific tablecloth and branding. For example, at the American Psychological Association (APA) conference, use California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) branding. If you are not sure what is appropriate, ask Marketing, a Senior Director of Partnership Development, or your Director of Admissions.

**The alumni "Stay Connected" fliers are specific to CSPP alumni and should only be used at psychology-focused events. For events targeting other discipline areas, bring business cards for Alumni Relations staff in place of the fliers.

***Badge ribbons are intended for conferences where we have attendance from our internal community, i.e. students, alumni, and faculty. Examples of these events are APA, TESOL International, SIOP, or AAMFT.


Shipping for Out of State Conferences
Shipment and coordination of necessary materials for conferences is the responsibility of the attending staff member(s). Be sure to review the shipping policy and exhibitor information specific to the conference you are attending to ensure compliance with their regulations. Contact Senior Business Development staff or Marketing Department staff if you have questions or need guidance.
