Email addresses that are not allowed in Pardot and Marketo

Role-Based and Reserved Email Addresses

Because role-based and reserved email addresses often represent multiple recipients, they generate many spam complaints.

To prevent unnecessary spam complaints, marketing restricts these email addresses on imports and doesn’t send email to reserved email addresses.

Role-Based Email Addresses

Addresses with the following prefixes are role based. Importing and sending to these email addresses is disabled by default. Please exercise due diligence and enter the prospect or contacts individual email address.
